Duties

• Oversee daily stockroom activities, including stocking, inventory management, and order processing to ensure accuracy and efficiency

• Support merchandising efforts to optimize product placement and store presentation in collaboration with management

• Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems for inventory tracking, sales transactions, and pricing adjustments

• Conduct regular inventory audits, reconcile discrepancies, and implement effective stock control measures

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming furniture and merchandise

• Prepare product for delivery, pickup, or showroom placement

• Assist with loading and unloading furniture safely and efficiently

Skills

• Proven experience in retail stockroom or warehouse operations with strong leadership skills

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under time constraints

• Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS technology, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and retail math.

• Demonstrated expertise in retail sales management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives.

• Exceptional communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move furniture with assistance

• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift

• Ability to operate hand trucks, dollies, or other equipment (training provided)
