Position Summary

The Flagship location Gallery Leader is responsible for the overall success of the gallery, driving sales performance, operational excellence, team development, and an exceptional customer experience. This leader sets the standard by leading with integrity, accountability, and a servant leadership mindset—putting the team first while inspiring high performance.


Based at our Home Office, this role provides the unique opportunity to work closely with company leadership while helping shape the customer experience, team culture, and overall success of our premier location.

Qualifications | Required Experience

• 5+ years of leadership experience in luxury retail, home furnishings, interior design, or a comparable customer-focused industry

• Proven track record of achieving sales goals and driving business growth

• Strong understanding of retail KPIs and performance metrics

Key Responsibilities | Leadership & Team Development

Sales & Customer Experience

• Drive gallery sales, profitability, and key performance indicators.

• Stay informed on home furnishings, interior design, and luxury retail trends to better serve clients and support the team.

Operations & Business Management

• Create strategic schedules that align staffing with business trends while maximizing productivity and controlling payroll.

• Monitor sales performance, payroll, operational reports, and business metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Ensure accurate inventory management, order processing, cash handling, deposits, and operational recordkeeping.

• Review invoices, operational reports, and financial reconciliations to maintain company standards.

• Partner with Corporate teams on marketing initiatives, community outreach, and special events that strengthen brand awareness.

• Maintain visual merchandising, showroom presentation, and operational standards consistent with company expectations and partnership directives.

• Participate in opening and closing procedures, inventory counts, and other operational responsibilities.

• Perform other duties as assigned.


Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk on a concrete sales floor for extended periods (with provided rest breaks).

• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and move merchandise as needed.

• Ability to participate in inventory counts and general showroom maintenance.

Design Consultant

Full-Time & Part-Time | Santa Rosa Beach, FL

Job Description


REQUIRED

• Previous retail experience

• Holidays & weekends

• Full-Time must have open availability

• Part-Time must work 20 hours a week minimum

• For Part-Time - ability to work a weekend shift, either Saturdays or Sundays

• Strong computer skills, attention to detail and basic math skills

• Past experience in the interior design or home furnishings industry preferred

DUTIES

• Warmly & authentically welcome guests into the showroom

• Represent the Stock & Trade Design Co. brand through high-level communication, personal appearance & professionalism

• Treat all coworkers in a professional and courteous manner

• Answer customers questions on sales floor

• Actively seek out customers in-store & approach as the situation dictates

• Provide complete individualized design solutions based on identified customer needs and budget to close the sale

• Ask open-ended questions to determine if customer needs design services

• Stay knowledgeable and up-to-date on current home furnishing & design trends

• Create & process invoices, purchase orders and transfers via the POS system with accuracy per company policies & procedures

• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service & follow-up after the sale

• Regularly contact past customers who are waiting on product to provide up to date information on backorders & ETA’s

• Meet or exceed all monthly goals or quotas, as assigned by the store manager or corporate office

• Attend product knowledge training classes, as assigned

• Comply with inventory control procedures

• Participates in cycle counts & physical inventories

• Assists in opening decorative accessories & pricing in downtime

• Ability to stand & maneuver on concrete sales floor for long durations (rest periods provided)

• Participates in opening & closing of the galleries: sweep, windex, vacuum, straighten sales floor, dust

• Participate & support any policy changes, procedure changes, new systems or work rules the company implements

Furniture Retail Environment

Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Back of House / Warehouse Associate Team Member to help ensure the smooth flow of furniture and product behind the scenes. This role is essential to maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting the sales floor, and delivering a positive customer experience.


What You’ll Do

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming furniture and merchandise

• Prepare product for delivery, pickup, or showroom placement

• Assist with loading and unloading furniture safely and efficiently

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

• Support showroom teams with product movement and floor requests

• Identify and report product damage or discrepancies

• Follow company procedures for inventory handling and storage

• Assist with transfers, staging, and special projects as needed
